Let’s Talk About OCness

I can say that am OC when it comes to helping people. How come I did not mention that whenever I apply for a job and the interviewer asked me what is my weakness/es? Ha, now I know!

I can’t even define the difference between OC and just being crazy. I’ll give you a scenario wherein my OC enzyme starts building up…Well, whenever a friend ask for a title of a certain song or movie I will immediately google that and will never stop until I find it. Sometimes I send text messages to other friends and ask them about it. Even if it takes days to research, I still do it.

I remember my friend in Denmark once asked me about Boracay vacation. We were just chatting via ym and before we ended up our session I already gave her a flight schedule/promo fare and a discounted hotel accomodation hahaha!

Skipping February

Everybody is excited to know what will happen on the 14th, especially to those unseparable super lovey-dovey couple. Let me guess, red roses and chocolates! And who would have not guessed it in the first place. Whatever the flower arrangement you may get or the brand of chocolates you might purchase for me it’s still FLOWERS AND CHOCOLATES no more, no less. Forgive me but I’m not into that kind of game hehe =) I prefer to go home without carrying those bunch of long stem roses or a box of ferrero chocolates twice as big as my handbag. A simple dinner with my hubby or with my son can definitely make Valentine’s day extra special.

You know what makes Feb so fab?…Summer is near! Swimming! Sun! Hahaha =D I can skip Feb but not March.

I got interested learning the standard Mandarin back in 2003 because of Meteor Garden. Remember the Qing Fei De Yi song and the F4’s version of Can’t Help Falling in Love With You? Hahaha I really wanted to sing those songs pero kamusta naman ang bilis ng mga ka-shishihan though medyo memorize ko dati ang oh baby baby nila hindi ko naman alam kung tama ang pronunciation ko haha!

So right now, whenever I have time I make sure to learn 2-4 phrases of basic Mandarin per day. Wish me luck eto lang ang kakayanin ko kasi ayoko ng mga MBA-MBA na yan =) At least kapag nasa Taipei nako (2012, wish ko lang) ma-apply ko naman ng tama ang mga ka-shishihang natutunan ko. Xiexie, standardmandarin.com =) Wish me luck! 

Secret

I watched DWL “again” last Saturday. Aon suddenly came up to me and said. “mommy, may secret ako sayo”. So i asked him, “ano yun?” He immediately replied, “off mo muna tv sasabihin ko sayo”. I turned off the tv and dvd. When he saw me smiling and was about to ask his secret…biglang sabi niya “ay mommy wala nako sa mood” Hmp! Nairita na ata kaka-Yu Ping ko! =)

Have you ever…

I have 76 pending friend requests in facebook. Ung iba di ko lang talaga trip maging ka-fb, yung iba hindi ko talaga kilala, yung iba naman kahit siguro si madam Auring ay di mahuhulaan kung tao o zombie ang nang-iinvite kasi profile pic palang matatakot ka ng i-accept dahil kundi morbid eh mahalay lang ang dating. I already deleted 5-10 persons due to personal reasons. Sige sasabihin ko na. May mayabang mag-status at mag-post ng kung anu-ano. Walang problema kung sadyang mayaman ka pero allergic ako sa sobrang mayabang na mayaman kahit mabait ka pa. Yung iba namang nadelete ko dahil sa negative ang image niya o diba kulang nalang i-present ang nbi clearance niyo bago ko ma-approve ang friend request. But the experience I had today was totally freakin’ awkward. Somebody in the office borrowed my charger and guess who…yung deleted friend ko na officemate! Pak!
